Playing Cards

For a while I have wanted to make my own set of playing cards, with very simple symbols on them. I’m not much of a card player myself, I really never progressed past playing “Go Fish”, but with my son teaching himself card tricks all weekend, I thought it was a good time to do some.

It was a lot of fun, and now I want to do it again. I think I might design highly illustrated cards for kids, possibly “magic” themed.

Venn diagrams seem to have really taken off on Flickr and various image bookmarking sites I visit. I’m not sure why, but I  like it when typically droll diagrams are used to illustrate weird things.
