This is an illustration I made for a one of my Flickr contacts, JD Hancock, as bit of a thank you.
This guy always leaves nice comments on my photostream, and favourites the things I make. He’s my possibly my biggest fan, and not in a Kathy Bates from “Misery” way. Well maybe. Let’s just see how it all plays out.

My new business cards arrived!

Yippee!

I’m pretty happy with how these turned out. I was a little unsure about putting an illustration of myself on my business card (it’s a bit vain isn’t it?) but it’s a self promotion tool after all. I also wanted something simple and to the point, showing the type of illustration I like doing.
I’m almost finished similar little illustrations for my website, some of those are already up there, and I’ll post them all here when I’m done.

Well finally I have built myself a portfolio website – www.markleggett.co.nz

It’s all up and running, and although I am still working on a few small visual changes for it over the next week or so, but the content is there. I’m more interested in it being a constantly evolving rather than something that gets out of date easily.

On the navigation bar to the left I have added all of the places around the internet that I like I’m active on (besides here of course) Flickr, WordPress, Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, all that jazz…
